Dalton Kincaid holds a 21.8% edge in Superflex dynasty value.Updated 9/5/2026
Kincaid is the cleaner bet to be a weekly top-8 TE because he’s already shown he can command targets in an elite Josh Allen offense. Buffalo’s pass game concentrates volume through its top options, and Kincaid has a realistic path to 90+ targets with spike-week TD upside. Even at a 23.6% premium, you’re paying for a higher floor, higher certainty profile at a position where that stability matters.
Ferguson is 3.4 years younger and priced notably cheaper, which matters in dynasty because TE breakouts often come later and value can climb quickly with one usage shift. In LAR, there’s a plausible runway for him to grow into a primary middle-of-field option if routes/targets consolidate his way. If he earns near-full-time snaps and 70–85 targets, the payoff versus cost can beat Kincaid’s ROI.
Kincaid—take the bankable weekly role and attachment to Allen, and accept the 23.6% premium for points and reliability.
Ferguson—lean younger/cheaper and chase value appreciation while keeping liquidity for future moves.
It’s close only if you’re price-sensitive; otherwise Kincaid is the better bet, Ferguson the better value swing.
Worth more?
Kincaid is worth more in most formats, but Ferguson is the better dollar-for-dollar buy given the 23.6% gap.
Trade?
If you roster Ferguson, I’d take Kincaid straight up; if you roster Kincaid, I’d only pivot to Ferguson if you’re getting an added 2nd-ish on top.
Superflex?
In SF, I still prefer Kincaid for contenders, but I’m more willing to take Ferguson plus a pick since QB/WR premiums make paying up at TE less necessary.
