Values are nearly even — within 5% of each other.Updated 9/19/2026
Raridon is nearly 1.5 years younger, which matters at TE where breakouts often come late and patience can pay. His cheaper cost (SF 1,086) gives you more asymmetric upside if he earns a real route role, since any climb into a weekly-streaming tier can spike value. As a rebuilding stash, he’s the profile you can hold without needing immediate points and still potentially flip on a camp/usage blip.
Helm is priced higher (SF 1,449) because he’s closer to usable outcomes: older, more physically/technically developed, and more likely to contribute sooner if his depth-chart path opens. In contending builds, paying for the player with the clearer near-term snap/target path is often correct at TE because replacement-level points matter weekly. The 25.1% gap is basically a premium for earlier usability and a higher probability of becoming a startable TE2/streamer rather than a pure stash.
Lean Gunnar Helm: the market is paying for earlier, more bankable usability, which contenders should prioritize at TE.
Lean Eli Raridon: take the younger, cheaper stash and bet on a value jump rather than paying the 25% premium now.
Not close at current prices—Helm is the better win-now bet, but Raridon is the better risk-adjusted rebuild investment given the 25.1% discount.
Worth more?
Gunnar Helm is worth more today by market value (SF 1,449 vs 1,086), but Raridon can be the better value depending on team direction.
Trade?
If you have Helm, I’d tier down to Raridon plus a small add; if you have Raridon, I wouldn’t add much to move up unless you need immediate TE points.
Superflex?
In SF, both are still secondary assets, so I prefer using either as a kicker in larger deals and defaulting to the cheaper one (Raridon) unless you’re contending.
