Jonathan Taylor holds a 38.7% edge in Superflex dynasty value.Updated 9/17/2026
Jonathan Taylor is the rare RB with proven league-winning ceiling, capable of carrying weekly scoring when Indy’s offense is functioning. He profiles as a more traditional volume/goal-line bet, which tends to be the most stable path to elite RB fantasy finishes. If you’re paying up, you’re buying a clearer “alpha RB” profile and a track record of handling heavy workloads.
Kyren Williams can match Taylor’s week-to-week impact when healthy because his role is extremely fantasy-friendly (high-value touches and strong scoring environment). He’s younger and typically cheaper, which matters in dynasty RB markets where value can evaporate quickly. If the Rams keep him in an every-down role, he can deliver contender-level points without paying the premium price.
Taylor at a 33.5% premium is acceptable if you need the higher-confidence bell-cow archetype, but Kyren is the better points-per-cost play if your roster has multiple needs.
Prefer Kyren (or, ideally, neither RB) because tying up extra value in a 27.5-year-old back is usually a losing bet in a rebuild.
This is close enough that I’d take Kyren plus a meaningful add (mid 1st-ish value) over paying the gap straight for Taylor.

Worth more?
Jonathan Taylor is worth more in most formats, but the 33.5% gap is steep given RB volatility.
Trade?
If you can move Taylor for Kyren plus a 1st (or equivalent flex asset), do it; if it’s Kyren plus a 2nd, I’d rather keep Taylor.
Superflex?
In superflex, both are relatively devalued versus QBs, so lean Kyren at cost unless Taylor is the final piece for a title run.
