THE CASE FOR TAYLOR

Jonathan Taylor is a proven NFL workhorse with elite tackle-breaking and big-play ability, and when healthy he’s a weekly difference-maker. Indy’s offense and OL give him a clearer near-term path to 300+ touches and multi-TD spike weeks than most backs. For contenders, his bankable role and ceiling are exactly what you pay up for in points, even at 27.5.

THE CASE FOR JUDKINS

Quinshon Judkins is 22.8 with fresh legs and a longer runway of value insulation if he hits, which matters in dynasty. Cleveland’s RB room has opportunity for a lead back role to emerge quickly, and Judkins has the profile to win high-leverage touches if he’s the best runner. At a lower SF cost, you’re buying asymmetric upside with less age-related downside baked in.

VERDICT BY TEAM SITUATION

If you're contending:

Take Jonathan Taylor and accept the 26% premium if you’re pushing chips in for 1–2 titles now.

If you're rebuilding:

Take Quinshon Judkins and keep the flexibility/age curve while avoiding paying peak points for a 27.5-year-old RB.

If value is close:

In a neutral build, I lean Judkins at cost unless Taylor’s points clearly swing your weekly win probability.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

Worth more?

Taylor is worth more in pure 2026 points, but Judkins is often the better value per dynasty dollar given the age gap.

Trade?

If buying Taylor, try to have the Taylor side add a small 2nd/3rd; if selling Taylor, ask for Judkins plus a 2nd.

Superflex?

In SF this is still a RB-for-RB bet, so roster direction matters more than format—contenders prefer Taylor’s points, rebuilders prefer Judkins’ runway.
