Dynasty Trade of the Week: August 18, 2026

Training camps are heating up and so is dynasty trading season. Whether you’re contending or rebuilding, making the right move now can define your next few years. Let’s break down this week’s most compelling trades, highlighting value tilts and strategic pivots as we close in on kickoff.

---

Trade 1: Ashton Jeanty, CeeDee Lamb FOR Ray Davis, James Cook, Puka Nacua — FAIR A classic win-now vs. depth trade. Lamb is the best player here by a margin, but the package of Davis, Cook, and Nacua gives you multiple cracks at production and upside. Fair for both sides, depending on roster construction and risk tolerance.

Trade 2: Tony Pollard, Ja'Marr Chase, Cade Otton FOR Rashee Rice, Isaac TeSlaa, Tee Higgins, Breece Hall — FAIR Chase is the crown jewel, but Hall plus Higgins and Rice is an enticing return. The contender gets safer points with Chase and Pollard, while the other side takes a swing on high-ceiling youth. Even swap with both teams filling needs.

Trade 3: Malik Nabers, Justin Jefferson FOR Rashee Rice, Ashton Jeanty, Courtland Sutton, James Cook — LOPSIDED No way to sugarcoat this: the team acquiring Nabers and Jefferson is grabbing two top-10 dynasty assets for a grab bag of Tier 3/4 players. Unless your league has wild scoring quirks, this is a slam dunk win for the Nabers/Jefferson side.

Trade 4: Javonte Williams, Jaxon Smith-Njigba FOR Luther Burden, Jahmyr Gibbs — CLOSE Burden is a rocket ship of value, and Gibbs is in the elite RB conversation, but JSN still carries tantalizing upside and Williams could bounce back. Slight lean to the Burden/Gibbs side, but close enough for both teams to feel good about their haul.

Trade 5: Oronde Gadsden, Ja'Marr Chase FOR Mason Taylor, Jonathan Taylor, George Pickens — FAIR Chase tilts almost any deal, but JT and Pickens have enough combined value to make this interesting, especially if Taylor returns to form. Gadsden and Mason Taylor are wild cards, but this is a fair shake for teams with different timelines.
