We’re past Week 1, and dynasty managers are either panicking or plotting their way to the top. This week’s trades bring a mix of win-now splashes and future-forward moves—let’s break down the best (and worst) deals of the week.

Trade 1: [Ashton Jeanty, CeeDee Lamb] FOR [Ray Davis, James Cook, Puka Nacua] — CLOSE This is the kind of trade that sharp contenders make. Lamb’s the best player in the deal, but the Davis/Cook/Nacua side offers depth and upside, especially if you need RB help. It’s even and team context should drive your decision.

Trade 2: [Malik Nabers, Justin Jefferson] FOR [Rashee Rice, Ashton Jeanty, Courtland Sutton, James Cook] — LOPSIDED If you’re giving up Jefferson and Nabers for a package lacking top-tier upside, you’re losing the deal. The Rice/Jeanty side is deep but doesn’t sniff the ceiling of two elite WR1s. Don’t overthink it—hold the stars and build around them.

Trade 3: [Tony Pollard, Ja'Marr Chase, Cade Otton] FOR [Rashee Rice, Isaac TeSlaa, Tee Higgins, Breece Hall] — FAIR A balanced move for both sides. Chase is the crown jewel, but Hall and Higgins keep it close. If you’re retooling, the Hall/Higgins side gives you more youth and upside; if you want certainty, stick with Chase and Pollard.
