Trade of the Week: September 15, 2026

Dynasty Trade of the Week – September 15, 2026

Week 2 is in the books and the dynasty community is already churning with some blockbusters. Let’s break down five real trades from leagues across the landscape, with my sharp, unfiltered verdicts on each. Values via the industry standard calculator—link at the end.

---

Trade 1: Ashton Jeanty, CeeDee Lamb FOR Ray Davis, James Cook, Puka Nacua Verdict: CLOSE This is a classic “stars for depth” swap. Lamb is the best player in the deal—still an elite dynasty asset—and Jeanty’s upside is massive. But if you’re contending and need starters, flipping for three legitimate pieces (with Puka still holding WR1 upside) isn’t crazy. Slight lean to the Lamb side, but you can justify either direction based on team needs.

---

Trade 2: Malik Nabers, Justin Jefferson FOR Rashee Rice, Ashton Jeanty, Courtland Sutton, James Cook Verdict: LOPSIDED No way around it: you don’t trade away an elite WR duo like Jefferson/Nabers unless you’re getting a true blue-chip return. Rice is a wildcard, Jeanty has juice, but Sutton and Cook are just roster depth. If you’re giving up two top-10 dynasty WRs, you need more proven firepower coming back. Massive win for the Nabers/Jefferson side.

---

Trade 3: Tony Pollard, Ja'Marr Chase, Cade Otton FOR Rashee Rice, Isaac TeSlaa, Tee Higgins, Breece Hall Verdict: FAIR This is a rare “big names everywhere” trade that actually balances out. Chase is the crown jewel, but Breece is a top-5 dynasty RB and the Higgins/Rice/TeSlaa trio is intriguing (especially if you’re deep at WR). Pollard and Otton are throw-ins. A fair deal, with the edge depending on your positional needs.

---

Trade 4: Javonte Williams, Jaxon Smith-Njigba FOR Luther Burden, Jahmyr Gibbs Verdict: CLOSE Burden’s value has skyrocketed, and pairing him with Gibbs (an RB1 in dynasty) is a strong foundation. Williams and JSN are both post-hype players who could rebound, but this feels like a swing for upside with Burden/Gibbs. I lean that way, but if you believe in the bounce-back, the other side isn’t crazy.

---

Trade 5: Jakobi Meyers, Trevor Lawrence, James Cook FOR Davante Adams, Lamar Jackson, Breece Hall, Josh Downs Verdict: LOPSIDED Lamar is in another tier over Lawrence, Breece is the best RB in the deal, and even at his age, Davante gives you a win-now difference-maker. Meyers and Cook are depth, and Downs is a nice upside piece. The Adams/Lamar/Breece side runs away with this one.
