Dalton Kincaid holds a 40.7% edge in Superflex dynasty value.Updated 9/22/2026
Kincaid is the more bettable talent-profile with athleticism and route-running that can win like a big slot, which is how elite fantasy TEs separate. Attached to Josh Allen in a high-scoring offense, his ceiling outcomes are difference-making if Buffalo leans into him as a primary target. He’s slightly younger and the market generally pays more for the “could be top-3 TE” archetype than the steady TE1/2 type.
Ferguson has the cleaner, repeatable path to weekly points: stable snaps, heavy route participation, and strong red-zone usage in Dallas. His role is already consolidated and he’s proven he can be a reliable volume/TD producer without needing a massive scheme shift. With the current prices essentially even, you’re paying TE1 money for a player with a very bankable floor and near-term usability.
Ferguson by a hair for contenders because his weekly role/TD equity is more predictable at essentially the same cost.
Kincaid for rebuilders because the ceiling case (true target-earner attached to an elite QB) is the one that can materially gain value.
It’s close enough that team build should decide: take Ferguson for floor, take Kincaid for ceiling, and don’t force a swap without a sweetener.
Worth more?
Slight lean Kincaid in value insulation/ceiling, but in many rooms Ferguson will fetch the same or more due to bankable production.
Trade?
If you’re moving Kincaid for Ferguson, ask for a small plus (late 2nd/early 3rd type), and if you’re moving Ferguson for Kincaid, only do it if you can get Kincaid straight up or with a tiny add back.
Superflex?
In SF the difference is still marginal—prefer the one that fits your competitive window, with a slight contender lean to Ferguson and rebuild lean to Kincaid.
