Tucker Kraft holds a 10% edge in Superflex dynasty value.Updated 9/18/2026
LaPorta has already posted an elite fantasy ceiling at the position, which is the hardest thing to buy in dynasty TEs. Detroit’s offense is stable and high-scoring, giving him consistent TD and weekly spike-week access even if volume fluctuates. At essentially the same age, the proven top-end outcome reduces risk versus betting on continued ascent.
Kraft is tied to Jordan Love and an ascending Packers offense, and his role can still grow as Green Bay’s TE1 consolidates. He offers strong efficiency/after-catch upside and is typically cheaper than the true elite tier while still flashing difference-making weeks. If his routes/targets stabilize, his value has room to rise from TE1 to impact-TE levels.
LaPorta for contenders—he’s the cleaner bet for bankable top-tier weekly scoring in a strong offense.
Kraft for rebuilders if you can add value on top, because the price-to-upside runway is better even if the floor is lower.
I’d take LaPorta straight up; Kraft only wins if you’re getting enough extra to justify the 10.5% gap.
Worth more?
LaPorta is worth more due to proven elite production and a safer long-term TE1 profile.
Trade?
If moving LaPorta, target Kraft plus a meaningful add (e.g., an early 2nd or a young starter-tier piece) rather than taking the 10.5% gap at face value.
Superflex?
In SF, the TE-to-TE gap matters less than QB/WR gaps, but LaPorta still carries the better win-now edge while Kraft is the better “plus-asset” pivot.
